Russ Boykin
Russ was born in Savannah, Georgia and has lived in Augusta since 1996 with his lovely wife, Tammy and their daughter, Sara.
Russ began his career in veterinary medicine in 1991 and has worked at veterinary clinics in Ft. Smith, AR, Naples, FL, Savannah, GA, and Augusta, GA. He has been a staff member of AAE since 2001.
Russ chose veterinary medicine as a career due to a strong interest in science, medicine, and animals and he has never regretted his choice. He tells people all the time that he can honestly get up every day and go to a job that he loves and enjoys.
Working in emergency medicine has become a passion for Russ and has greatly increased his knowledge and skill level.
Russ considers the veterinarians and staff at AAE as some of the most caring and professional people he has had the pleasure to work with and is proud to call AAE his second family.
